We believe in having gardens for all seasons … ones that look good in the winter as well as in the spring or summer. We do not believe in the indiscriminate use of pesticides and herbicides but participate in an environmental friendly form of gardening called Integrated Pest Management (for more information visit the Clemson University Cooperative Extension Service website). We particularly like to use native plants and flowers proven to thrive in local conditions. We cannot always rely on copious amounts of rain so it is important to use plant selections indigenous to our area.
